Hi – I’m getting the same problem as James here, where is it??? Can anyone help?
I think there is a problem with your plugin because since I installed it my page is continuous download
the short cuts [fb_like] [fb_count] aren’t working for me? the shortcut shows instead of the button. advise?
How is possible to see ghost page and to admin it?
Can you write an installation and configuration guide?
Suggestions:
Clan up how code writes to not have spaces and if height is left blank to not write out “height: px”
class = "" style = "height: px;"Also Spell Default Image correctly in the admin – currently spelled as “Defualt Image: “
another question,
is normal that i don’t see API Key in plugin panel?
you have the shortcodes [fb_like] [fb_count] which are nice. But is it possible to create hooks right into the template? I guess I need a php hook for that, how would that work?
thanks!

If you want to hook it inside your template,
it’s very easy :
This system works for any shortcode.
Cheers!

me too, I want to implement it manually in my theme but I dont know which code I should use! [fb_like] doesnt work, I think its not for placing in template!
Got it working pretty much no problem, the trick is to watch the video and how you got to set up Facebook to your domain as an application.
Application ID.
You might get a hang up on an app ID for a couple minutes in the process on facebook because it is not instant.
I have already problem,
i don’t see api key.
is this normal?
I’m sorry but these instructions just aren’t working correctly…
Can someone please just type out the installation instructions for those of us who can’t watch the video? Thanks. I got as far as uploading and installing it, it’s activated, but nothing is showing up.
Short instructions:
1. set up a facebook application under http://www.facebook.com/developers/
2. upload/install the plugin
3. enter your application ID and setup options
4. enjoy.
I’ve got another question: is there a way to manually add the button to the template (index.php to be precise) so the script doesn’t show up as many times as number of posts on main page?
When using a default image, it seems to work when I first set it… but its almost like facebook (or the plugin) forgets to use that image because after a few things are liked it just starts pulling other random images off of my main page. Any ideas?
XFBML is not working. Nothing is shown on page. Any instruction to do in addition to enter the App ID?
And when saving config. I got a conflict with “Simple Twitter Connect” plugin :
Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /facebook-like-button/inc/update_options.inc.php:92) in /simple-twitter-connect/stc.php on line 31
Maybe you can help
I forgot :
line 31 : session_start();
no template tags ( only shortcode ) = fail.
With this code you can use it in your template files:
(erase every [space] before and after every ?-mark)
Hello,
thanks for this plugin
please how to put it manually ? i don’t fine the code to put
thanks
Hai Ahmed Hussein……….. Syukron
it’s from this morning that I’m not able of showing the like botton in my home page… even if I mark up the “show in Home” option… it was working ’till yesterday!
Can you help me please?
I have a problem after activation a plugin:
CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /var/www/…./wp-content/plugins/facebook-like-button/inc/get_key.php on line 12
How to fix it?
Thank You for the help!

Good day,
When I activate your plugin, I get this error:
Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/delovc/wowgeek.ru/wp-content/plugins/facebook-like-button/inc/get_key.php on line 12

Could you help me to solve this problem?
Thank you!

I have exactly the same problem.
Can you tell me why the Like button is showing up on individual blog posts, but not on the main blog page at http://www.focusedbusinessaction.com/blog/? Otherwise, it seems to be working just fine for me.
First of all thanks so much for this plugin! How do I disable the plugin on certain pages? (not posts)
im getting the error headers already sent in admin when hitting save after entering page ID. lines 830 and 831 in functions.php
any idea whats happening here?
I’d like to be able to edit the open graph meta fields to add a specific title and description for each blog post. Is this possible?
Thanks
The plugin is working perfect, the only problem I have, is it’s forcing a white space between the like button and the beginning of the post. Any suggestions on how to fix this, as I would prefer it to be at the top of the page (before the post) rather then the bottom (after the post).
Thanks for your help, and for the great plugin!
This plugin doesn’t work for me. I installed and activated it and nothing has happened. I don’t have an option menu or anything….
There seems to be a conflict with the SI Captcha Plugin, I get the following when saving the settings of your Facebook Like plugin on my website:
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home/mysite/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/facebook-like-button/inc/update_options.inc.php:92) in /home/mysite/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/si-captcha-for-wordpress/si-captcha.php on line 766
Can you give more guidance on manual positioning? Thanks.
